the more i academically study the world around me, the more idealistic i become in my wants and desires. in other words, the more time i spend learning, the more i want to run away and avoid it.
i really need to find a way to reconcile these feelings so that the latter can become a positive motive for my education and not as it is now — an immense distraction.
